How it works
GetYourFix was created to introduce pet “Owners” in need to “Sponsors” who want to help by funding a spay/neuter surgery. This is a FREE service sponsored by the FiXiT Foundation in order to connect people to help animals.

Create a FREE account! OR choose a profiled pet to sponsor as a guest! (NEW!)
- 2.
Select a Pet to Help. We get hundreds of new cats and dogs profiled on GetYourFix.org every month. Browse for animals in your area, of your species or breed preference, or in high risk multiple animal homes - every fix makes a difference!

Provide Payment. If you choose to create an account, you can either contact Owners via our anonymous GetYourFix mail system OR make a flat donation and FiXiT will coordinate the fix for your animal of choice. As a guest, you can only make a flat donation for FiXiT to coordinate the fix. If you work directly with an Owner, you will select a clinic together and simply provide the clinic payment. A 100% transparent contribution to end pet overpopulation is that easy!

Create a FREE account! This will enable you to post pet profiles and be contacted by Sponsors.
- 2.
Create a profile for your Pet(s). After you have created your account, you will be able to post profiles for your pet(s) which Sponsors will search.
- 3.
Wait to be Selected by a Sponsor. When a Sponsor selects your pet, they will email you via the GetYourFix mail system to coordinate. In preparation for your pet's fix, we recommend you find a low-cost clinic in your area so you are ready to go. Your pet profile will expire after 30 days, but don't worry we'll let you know so that you can reactivate it.

- We recommend only using the anonymous email tool provided within the GetYourFix mail system to maintain your privacy.
- The list of clinics provided is for reference only. We don't guarantee any clinic's quality. The pet Owner and Sponsor are responsible for picking an appropriate clinic.
- We don't recommend exchanging any billing information. The funds should be paid either directly to the clinic you select or through the FiXiT Foundation as we are available to help with coordination.
- Payments supplied directly to vet clinics are not tax deductible as a donation to FiXiT Foundation. Please contact us for alternative solutions for making your GetYourFix sponsorship tax deductible.
